Coffee and Refreshments
Every Monday morning a small community comes together at All Saints.
At 8.30am we say Morning Prayer together; listening to words from our Psalms and a reading from the Bible. All are welcome to join us in prayer.
After prayer some stay to bake cookies, cakes and other good things which are shared with our Church and those in need in our neighbourhood.
To take part in the baking community please speak to Mike Deed or Peggy.
Everyone is welcome at God's table!
There is a time of worship every Sunday at 10.30am always including some singing, readings from the Bible and a celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion).
Our services are held at 301 King Street West and all are welcome to join us. Our Service is followed by refreshments and a time to hang out with each other.
Join us at 6pm on Sunday 14th December for our Community Christmas Carol Service.
We'll sing Christmas carols, hear the Christmas story, enjoy hot apple cider and Christmas cookies.
There will also be a chance to visit our Christmas Bake Sale Table.
All are welcome!
We are always trying to support our neighbours and care for those in need.
Currently we are collecting the following items:
Toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, shampoo, body wash, bars of soap, deodorant, new hairbrushes or combs, feminine hygiene products, new socks, new face cloths, new sweatpants, new bath-sized towels.
Also: Sealed packets of candy, snacks, protein bars.
We also collect donations of non-perishable food items.
These are distributed through our community partners including: The Indigenous Drop in Centre, the Cathedral Cafe, and Crossfire Food Pantry.
(Please do not bring any second hand fabrics to the church)
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
A small community,
meeting weekly
for a time of contemplation,
meditation and prayer.
We're currently taking a break to work out when's a better time that meditation can serve our neighbourhood and community.
From the 1st September to the 4th October each year we keep the Season of Creation where our prayers and thoughts turn more intently to care for God's world and action to make it happen.
In recent years we've supported Tree Canada as they seek to restore trees lost to wildfires across the country. We've also supported 'A Greener Future' in their mission of education and cleaning up around the Great Lakes.
In 2025 we'll be supporting local efforts to plant trees in Hamilton. The season of creation will be marked with special prayers, a collection to plant local trees, a Bible study for our seniors group and a special 'Way of Creation' liturgy on a Wednesday evening.
Join us to pray for God's beautiful and suffering world.
Most Sundays 12noon-1pm
a small group meets to study the Bible together and to learn about ways of deepening our spiritual life.
We have worked through the the Gospel of Saint Mark and spent time dwelling with the Psalms. We also spent the summer on 'Bible 101' finding out how the Bible came into being. At the moment we're taking a first look at the minor prophets.
Occasionally we learn new songs for worship. We've also taken a dive into prayer.
For more information speak with our priest, Mike.
We are settling into our new space at the corner of King and Queen street. 'Open hours' are not yet determined, but you can always join us on Sundays at 10.30am or contact us during the week. Details are below.
